TKC Research Fellowship

Launched in 2024, the TKC’s Research Fellowship is designed to grow the pipeline of scholars advancing the science of teaching kitchens. The program focuses on mentored research, scholarly writing, and active participation in TKC’s research community.

With a unique background blending public health and finance, Bo is exploring sustainable funding models and economic outcomes for teaching kitchen programs, further expanding the fellowship’s scope and influence.

As the first recipients of the TKC Research Fellowship, Lorena and Julia focused on strengthening the evidence base for nutrition behavior change and evaluating the efficacy of teaching kitchens. Their pioneering research laid a strong foundation for the fellowship’s ongoing impact and growth.
